Oil-Free Compressor Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Use serial-number-specific manuals and trend data instead of generic intervals.

Maintenance framework
Build tasks around daily inspection, running hours, calendar time, condition data and statutory inspection. Track intake restriction, temperatures, water circuit condition, separator performance, cooling approach, electrical connections, alarms and safety devices. Keep baseline readings from commissioning.
Troubleshooting logic
Low pressure may be demand, leakage, pressure loss, filter restriction, control set point or compressor capacity. High temperature may be ventilation, cooling-water flow, fouling, ambient conditions or internal circulation. Frequent cycling may be receiver volume, leaks, control band or oversizing. Check system data before replacing parts.
Oxygen-plant correlation
Trend compressor pressure and FAD with dryer condition, PSA cycle data, oxygen purity and oxygen flow. A drop in oxygen performance can originate in feed air, air treatment, adsorption, valves, analyzer or downstream distribution. Correlated data shortens diagnosis and prevents unnecessary compressor work.
