Oil-Free Air Compressor Supply for South Korea
Local pressure-vessel, electrical, language and service requirements should be resolved before model approval.

Pressure equipment and inspection
Korean pressure-vessel rules may classify air or nitrogen vessels by design pressure and service. An older official notice defines a Class A pressure vessel to include air or nitrogen vessels above 1 MPa gauge. Because regulations and implementing notices can change, the importer should confirm the current KOSHA/KCs inspection and certification path for the receiver and package rather than relying on this historical threshold alone.
Electrical and documentation
State site voltage, 60 Hz supply, motor and VFD requirements, Korean labels, control-interface protocol, emergency-stop logic and local panel certification expectations. Provide Korean operating and safety information when required. Confirm whether the project needs a local authorized inspector, witnessed test or registered pressure vessel.
Application fit
Always request the final general arrangement, wiring diagram, P&ID, pressure-equipment documents, performance statement, packing data and commissioning plan before shipment. The catalogue table is a starting point, not a conformity declaration.
For a medical oxygen project, clarify whether the compressor is feed air for a PSA/VPSA plant or medical air delivered to a patient pipeline. These are different duties. The machine must not be used to compress oxygen-rich gas without an explicitly engineered oxygen-service package.
